    Honda GL500 Silver Wing

Now THIS is a fast gas scooter. Itwas a mid-sized touring bike introduced in 1981. A couple of unique features were its Pro-Link monoshock rear suspension and the fact that it sported an interstate model which included large saddlebags and trunk. This made the it look like a miniature GL1100 GoldWing.

    Transmission – 5 speed
    Curb Weight – 500lbs
    Fuel Capacity – 5 gallons

    Honda GL 650 Silver Wing

This was launched in 1983, to complement the GL500 Silver Wing. Although its performance was said to be much better than that of the GL500 Silver Wing, this model did not last past its inaugural year.

    Engine – 495cc
    Horsepower – 40
    Transmission – 5 speed
    Curb Weight – 500lbs
    Fuel Capacity – 5 gallon
