  • History
    The Yamaha Corporation is a large conglomerate based in Japan and was founded in 1887. They were originally established as a piano and organ manufacturer by Torakusu Yamaha. If you ever noticed the company's logo, a trio of interlocking tuning forks, it still reflects its origins as a musical instrument manufacturer.

    Yamaha has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments. Acoustic guitars, keyboards, pianos, speakers are just some of the instruments they produce.

    It’s a huge company with its hands in many different fields. Motorcycles, ATV’s(4 wheelers), generators, outboard motors, waverunners, jet ski, golf carts, mopeds, boats and the list goes on. The number of products is endless.

    The YA-1 was the first motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1958. It was a 125cc, single cylinder, two-stroke, street bike. A sign of things to come.
